| DAY 1
Auckland - Bay of Islands Travel
up the Hibiscus coast, past beaches and seaside villages and the city
of Whangarei to reach Paihia in the Bay of Islands by lunch time. In
the afternoon we have included a cruise through the Bay to Hole in the
Rock on a sleek high speed catamaran. Stay 2 nights in Paihia.
DAY 2
Cape Reinga Day Tour
Travel north to Puketi
Kauri forest and then on to the very top of New Zealand where the
Tasman Sea meets the Pacific Ocean. In the afternoon, cross giant sand
dunes to Ninety Mile Beach where your coach speeds along the sand on
its way south to visit the "Time Machine" Wagener
Museum. There are other stops for sightseeing and refreshments and
your friendly Coach Captain provides interesting commentary and
information. Overnight in Paihia.
DAY
3 Paihia - Auckland - Rotorua
Back to Auckland by coach and then south, over the Bombay Hills into
the rich Waikato pasturelands. Through Hamilton and over the Mamaku
Hills to fiery Rotorua. This evening you attend Tamaki Tours famous
Maori Hangi (feast) and Concert. Stay 2 nights in Rotorua.

DAY 4
Rotorua sightseeing
The half day sightseeing tour is
included - see roaring geysers, boiling mud and steaming pools at the
thermal area, tame trout and Kiwi at the springs and performing sheep
and dogs at the Agrodome. Afternoon free for optional activities.
DAY 5 Rotorua
- Waitomo - Auckland Across
the North Island from Rotorua to the subterranean world of Waitomo. We
have included a tour - glide on an underground river boat under a
canopy of glow worm lights, and past thousand year old rock pillars -
fantastic. Then back to Auckland to arrive at 5.10 pm.
